During my recent city break in Christchurch, I had the pleasure of staying at the Daffodil Motel, and I must say, it pleasantly surprised me. The location was simply excellent, providing easy access to the cultural treasures of Hagley Park and the vibrant downtown area. It was perfect for exploring the city with my wife and daughter, as we indulged in a bit of sightseeing while also enjoying some fine local dining. The rooms were wonderfully comfortable; our charming studio featured all the essentials, including a well-equipped kitchenette which was quite useful. I particularly appreciated the spotless housekeeping and the warm welcome from Tai and Greta, who truly went out of their way to ensure we felt at home. One standout for me was the tranquility we experienced despite being near the road - Room 10 had excellent soundproofing that allowed us to enjoy our restful nights. With added benefits like free WiFi and convenient laundry facilities, Daffodil Motel offers excellent value for money in a delightful setting. I will certainly return to this gem on our next visit!
